Coca-Cola’s Free Style drink machines allowed customers to make individual orders that mixed and matched between dozens of different drinks. This was a public relations hit but a logistics nightmare as their supply chains were configured for very large and predictable batch orders, not smaller, more complex and unpredictable ones. RPA solved this issue by automating what was an 11 step process to order the correct resupply, saving time, money, and enabling the continued use of a great community outreach tool.
